The Arvila Farm produces organic beef of originally Finnish cattle in an ethical way, supporting local biodiversity. Our Eastern Finncattle lives as naturally as possible in their own rhythm, and they graze outside in natural woodland pastures and organic fields from spring until late in the autumn. In wintertime our cattle have indoor shelter, but our open-door policy offers them the freedom of being outside in the corral whenever they want.
Eastern Finncattle are an original Finnish cattle breed and they play an important role in the Finnish cultural landscape. Choosing this breed for its precious and unique genetic heritage was a conscious choice.

WELCOME TO OUR FARM SHOP
The Arvila Farm stands for excellent quality, ethical and naturally grazed organic Eastern Finncattle beef. We offer a choice of succulent roast, minced meat and tender stew meat and steaks. Our charming farm shop is open on Thursdays from 17-19. Mind you, we do appreciate every visitor, but by placing a preorder, we can guarantee you will get exactly the beef of your choice.

HOLIDAY AT THE FARM
Have you ever dreamed of sleeping in a century log cottage and seeing grazing Finncattle from your bedroom window? At the Arvila farm your dream can come true and we have room for 15 people in total. The cottage is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, shower and a traditional wood sauna. During your stay, you can enjoy the authentic countryside atmosphere, stroll through the traditional landscape along our nature trail and gazing into the flames with a cup of campfire coffee at our kota.

NATURAL BIODIVERSITY IS OUR PASSION
Grazing benefits nature’s diversity, the animals’ welfare and the preservation of the traditional biotope. At Arvila farm, the Finncattle maintain the biodiversity in the pastures, forest meadows and woodlands. Many plants, mushrooms, insects, birds and mammals benefit from the grazing. Exactly this increasing of typical biodiversity is one of the main goals of our farming.
